I mean that we were hornswoggled, hoodwinked, bamboozled! – Wiley Lester

Notes & Inspirations
- Originally aired March 5, 1995
- The cemetery in this episode was built with styrofoam tombstones very close to the spot at the Avonlea backlot where Felix trapped the fox in “A Fox Tale”.
- The house that the boys walk past on the way to the General Store was actually one of the few buildings in Avonlea that was functional. It was used by the security guards as a gate house because it was very close to the entrance gate to the Village. The Security Shack as it was called, was manned 24/7 because people were constantly trying to get onto the property.
